NH KIDS

Mission & Purpose

The goal and hope for NH Kids are that children will grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord, that parents will be equipped to disciple their children, and that, together, we can be a light and blessing to our community.

Safety & Security

Here are some of the security and safety measures that we implement with New Harvest Kids:

  • Volunteers do not change diapers or assist children in the bathroom.  If your child needs changing or assistance you will receive a text from the classroom iPad.
  • All volunteers (18+) are background checked and have gone through a screening process
  • Kids wear security tags to ensure they are released to an authorized adult
  • If your child needs you during service, volunteers will send a text using the classroom iPad
  • Volunteers are trained in the “3 Person Rule” to ensure they are never alone with an unrelated child

Curriculum

We use Brite* for our Sunday morning curriculum.  Brite* was developed by the Awana organization.

Here are some of the reasons we love this curriculum:

  • Brite* helps make disciples who can say: I believe in Jesus. I’m becoming more like Him. I belong to Him forever.
  • All KidMin classes will be on the same story/theme each Sunday.  There is also a monthly Family Calendar available for further learning and discussions at home.
  • With Brite*, kids will learn the full story of the Bible, not just Bible stories. Each passage and person gets connected to God’s Big Story from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
  • There is He-We-Me theology in each lesson to help kids build a framework for looking at scripture for themselves. They learn to identify what the Bible says about God, what it says to all people, and how what they hear applies to their own lives.
  • Leaders are equipped to help kids build a resilient faith that will help them navigate tough cultural topics.

Here are some of our NH Kids Events that Kids and Families look forward to throughout the year:
