“So in Christ Jesus you are all children (sons) of God through faith.” Galatians 3:26

  • Brought Near

“God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.” Galatians 4:4-5

  • Brought into Intimacy

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6 

Discussion Questions for Groups

  • Would you say you lean more toward an orphan or slave mentality?
  • As heirs of God, what are the “riches” accessible to us in Christ? How can we live in greater awareness of these blessings?
  • How can the truth of being adopted into God’s family impact how we live out our faith in the community and then serve others?
