He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Isaiah 40:11

The Bible describes us as sheep: dependent, easily wandering, etc. How does that description fit (or not) how you usually think about yourself?
Have you ever had a season in life where your faith moved from convenience to desperation?
What significance is there to you between referring to God as “a shepherd” versus “my shepherd”?
