Mission & Purpose

New Harvest Institute is an initiative to build into and equip followers of Jesus through enhanced learning environments around the subjects of Bible, theology, culture, and spiritual formation. If the church doesn’t disciple people, the world will.

To The Ends Of The Earth: Learn how to play your part

Theme verse: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

We will learn about the history of missions, the teaching of the Bible as a “sending” book, the state of the church, and the exciting adventure God has for each of us. This is sure to be eye-opening and quite inspiring as the Holy Spirit guides us on a journey that elevates what he cares about most, the heart of God for all nations. 

Prayer: A talk and walk with God

Bringing our needs and wants to the Lord has been our largest practice in our prayers. But what if there was more that we could both learn and enjoy with prayer? This class aims to make prayer an easier and more rewarding part of our lives. Just imagine God saying, “Just set your bag of requests down over there and let’s just relax and talk for a while.” We will look at the scripture together and see if this is really possible.

How to Study The Bible: An introduction to reading, studying, and understanding the Bible

We will discuss practical tips, helpful resources, and various methods of study that will help you read the Bible, and enjoy it, for life.

Apologetics: Making a Case for the Christian Faith
Dr. Craig Kuhn

What evidence is there for God’s existence? Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Where did evil and suffering come from? Are we sure we can trust the Bible? These are some of the questions we’ll be exploring together as we make a case for the Christian faith.
**This will be a 3-week class, not meeting on October 20th**
