Institute

Mission & Purpose

New Harvest Institute is an initiative to build into and equip followers of Jesus through enhanced learning environments around the subjects of Bible, theology, culture, and spiritual formation. If the church doesn’t disciple people, the world will.

New Harvest Institute Structure and Class Offerings

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of three dynamic tracks of study: Theology, Missions & Evangelism, and Spiritual Formation. Each track offers a range of core classes and engaging electives, culminating in a Certificate of Completion that equips you for deeper faith, effective ministry, and transformative leadership.

Whether you’re pursuing a full track in Theology, Mission & Evangelism, or Spiritual Formation, or simply exploring courses that spark your interest — you choose your path. Take classes based on our structured tracks or mix and match to fit your calling and curiosity. Your journey, your pace.

The next Institute session begins on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Check back here in January 2026 to register and see the list of classes being offered.

Spring 2026 Class Blocks
Class block taught by Dr. Craig Kuhn
2 two-week sessions

FEBRUARY BLOCK

Union with Christ (2 Weeks)

Week 1: Immediate Regeneration and the New Creation: what happens when we profess faith in Jesus Christ? What is sanctification, justification, and adoption? And why are these important to understand?

Week 2: Union with Christ and Practical Application: We’ll explore our relationship with Jesus and the positive outcomes of peace, unity and eventual glorification.

MARCH BLOCK

Apologetics (2 Weeks)

Week 1: Understanding the Proof of God’s Existence: We’ll look at core components of defending this faith winsomely (aka apologetics). These components have been used for centuries because they validate the existence of God.

Week 2: Faith and Reason Do Coexist: Reason and faith are not mutually exclusive. In fact, we’ll see how reason is required for having faith. Scripture encourages us to have knowledge because, ultimately, knowledge leads to God.

Join Dr. Craig Kuhn for one or both of these two-week studies as part of the new NHI Theology Track.

Missions & Evangelism Track

Certificate Requirements = 8 classes

The Least Reached People: The Major Religious Blocs of the World (2 Weeks)

Christianity comprises about 25% of the world. This leaves billions of people lost and apart from Christ. Most of these lost people are also religious. In our class we will study and discuss the implications that the major religious blocs have on the mission of Christ. What do we need to know? And, what are we called to do?

MARCH BLOCK

Personal Evangelism: The What and How of Our Mission (2 Weeks)

Evangelism can be an intimidating topic. The goal of the class is to help us see how missionary life is everyday life for you and me.

Join Pastor Barry Braun & John Doan for one or both of these two-week studies in the new Missions & Evangelism Track
